Integrating Polling / Voting Widgets into Central Desktop 

 

There are several vendors who offer polling solutions that can be integrated into Central Desktop.

 



Poll Daddy (its completely free)

  1. Setup an account (takes a few seconds)
  2. Create your poll and select your "skin".
  3. Once you are on Step 3, simply copy the javascript code into your clipboard.
  4. Go edit a Central Desktop page and enter HTML mode (select the html tab at the bottom)
  5. Paste in the javascript code and click on SAVE
  6. You should now have a poll on your Central Desktop page.

 


Note that this service makes your poll available to the general public

  1. Setup your account
  2. Confirm your account via email
  3. Create a Voting Poll Widget
  4. Click on Get Code and copy code to your clipboard
  5. Go edit a Central Desktop page and enter HTML mode (select the html tab at the bottom)
  6. Paste in the HTML code and click on SAVE
  7. You should now have a poll on your Central Desktop page.
